First established in 1963, Bobby Byrnes quickly gained a reputation as a friendly neighbourhood pub with a great interest in sport - a supporter of all local teams, in particular rugby. Bobby's became well known for serving a great bowl of soup and freshly made sandwiches. Fast forward just over 60 years, new owner Cian Conroy is ensuring that “Bobby’s”, as it is widely known, still remains a local, a place where you can get good food and be met with friendly and staff. The welcome has always been a warm and friendly one - whether you are a new visitor or one of its many regular customers.

Bobby’s was opened by Bobby and Helen Byrne in 1963, and was taken over in 2003 by their son Robert, his wife Fiona and their daughter Emily for 21 years until this year when Cian became the new owner.

Here at Bobby’s, we have an extensive food trade, facilitating early risers from 8am in our deli right through to the full dining experience, you can dine indoors or outside in the cocktail garden – the Bath Club. Hosting frequent music sessions, there is a warm, friendly and fun atmosphere here at Bobby’s.

Bobby's is popular for meetings between family and friends, celebrations, popping out from the office on your break or taking time out to watch a match.
